About EasyUnscramble
EasyUnscramble started with a simple frustration: most word puzzle sites feel stressful. Tiny text, dark themes, aggressive timers, and pop-up ads that interrupt the moment of calm you came for.
We set out to build something different — a word puzzle experience that feels like a warm cup of tea on a quiet morning. Big, readable text (18px minimum). A color palette inspired by autumn afternoons. No timers. No pressure. Just the satisfying joy of finding words.
Our Principles
Accessibility first
Every design decision starts with the question: does this work for everyone? Large text, high contrast, dark mode, keyboard navigation, and semantic HTML are non-negotiable.
Zero pressure
No streaks to break. No timer counting down. No shame for looking up a hint. Word puzzles should be joyful, not stressful.
Honest and independent
We are not affiliated with any game publisher. We don't accept payment for rankings. Our word lists and scores are based on publicly documented rules.
Free, always
The core tools will always be free. No paywalls, no paid "hints," no premium tiers. Word puzzles should be for everyone.
The Design
Our warm terracotta (#C95F3A) accent and cream background (#FBF7F2) were chosen to evoke something handmade — the feeling of ink on paper, of old books in good lighting. The Fraunces serif for headings adds warmth and personality; Inter for body text ensures clarity.
Every page supports dark mode, respects your system preference, and has been tested at sizes from 320px mobile to large desktop displays.
