Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 27 September 2026

EasyUnscramble was built for people who find busy, cluttered puzzle sites hard or tiring to use. We want the site to be comfortable for everyone, including people with low vision, older players, and people using assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have built in

  • Large, clear text and generous spacing throughout.
  • Warm, high-contrast colours, with a light and a dark mode.
  • A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Pages that work with browser zoom and larger text settings.
  • No account or sign-up needed to play.

Known limitations

  • We have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit.
  • Some word-list pages contain very long lists of words, which can be tiring to navigate with a screen reader.
  • Our cookie banner and some interactive tools are still being tested with a wider range of assistive technology.

Tell us what isn't working

If anything on EasyUnscramble is hard for you to use, please tell us. It genuinely helps. Email [email protected], describe the page and the problem, and let us know what device or assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to reply within five working days.
